Andrea Williams – Owner
Andrea has a Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy) from Southern School of Natural Therapies. This is the highest qualification within the discipline of Myotherapy. Andrea has been a practicing Myotherapist for 7 years. Prior to becoming a Myotherapist, Andrea completed a Bachelor of Nursing and practiced as a Registered Nurse for 10 years, specializing in orthopaedics.
As a lecturer at the Southern School of Natural Therapies (SSNT), Andrea teaches a number of subjects within the Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy) and supervises in the student clinic.
Andrea treats a range of musculoskeletal conditions and specializes in Pre and Post Natal Massage and Myotherapy.
Andrea is also involved with Myotherapy First event management. Myotherapy First sponsors various events including fun runs and walks around Melbourne. Andrea and her staff perform Myotherapy treatments for the events participants. In addition to her passion for providing the highest quality of client care, Andrea is committed to the ongoing development of the Myotherapy profession in Australia. Andrea supervises SSNT students at these events to enable them to gain valuable external experience.
Jason Nass
Jason has recently graduated from the BHS (Myotherapy) at SSNT. His experience in rehabilitation of sports related injuries is attributed to his time spent at various soccer clubs around Melbourne.
Jason's professional interest lies in biomechanical analysis to assess and correct postural abnormalities. This in addition to corrective exercise prescription, improves fitness, strength, and decreases neuromuscular pain and dysfunction. If you are an athlete with reoccurring injury, if you are experiencing postural difficulties and your sporting performace does not feel as good as it should be; you should arrange a consultation with Jason for a thorough assessment and evaluation.
Linsie Davies
Linsie also graduated from SSNT with a Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy). Linsie treats all musculoskeletal conditions.
Linsie is interested in all facets of client care but is especially interested in Pre and Post Natal Massage and Myotherapy. She is working very closely with Andrea learning all aspects of this field.
Erin Murphy
Erin also graduated from SSNT with a Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy). Erin treats all musculoskeletal conditions.
Erin has experience with clients suffering TMJ (jaw) pain and dysfunction. This, in addition to head and neck dysfunction can lead to headaches and face pain. This is an area Erin is keen to pursue.
Prior to becoming a Myotherapist, Erin studied arts graduating with a Bachelor of Arts / Visual Arts from Deakin University.
